I have subscribed to JC Whitney Catalog for almost 3 years now, and have been
buying products from their online store for about 4 months. Although buying through
the catalog seems to be faster, the online store offers much easier and accurate
after market purchases for that particular make and model car.

The Site: JC Whitney.Com is dedicated to selling after market parts, tools,
replacement parts, and accessories for trucks, vans, RVs, and cars. The site
primarily focus' on helping its customers turn that otherwise blase production car
into an aftermarket wonder. From exhaust modifications, to extreme body
enhancements, JC Whitney has almost anything you could ever want to find
(that you could't find in regular auto stores) for upgrading your car, truck, SUV, etc.

Formatting: The site is very easy to use, and has proved to be much more convenient
over the catalog. When you log on to the site there is a membership sign in, but this
is not necessary if you just want to browse. For a list of all the modifications available
for your car, you simply type the make and model of your car in space provided and
a list of modifications for your car will be listed.

How much does it cost to be a member? You only need to be a member if you buy a
product from this company. Membership is free, and is very easy to sign up, with no
e-mail verifications or anything. You simply type in the info requested and you are
ready to buy.

Buying & Shipping: You will need a credit card, and will need to fill out a basic form
asking for your home address etc.. This process is painless and takes only a few
minutes. Shipping and handling is a bit of a pain, JC Whitney separates the Unites
States into zones, and charges different rates for different zones. JC Whitney also
charges more for the amount you spend. Even if a product weighs 1 Oz. but costs
more than $200 dollars it will cost you more than a 1 lb product that costs $7.99,
which can be good or bad depending on what you are buying.

Returns & warrantys: Jc Whitney offers a 180 day warranty on all products that
indicated otherwise. The item purchased will need to be sent back, and
a replacement product will be sent, or your money back if requested.

My experience: I have purchased a few items from JC Whitney.Com and have been
very happy with the service and product. I have purchased side skirts for my Geo
Strom, A Tornado Engine Performance Booster, and a heater. All items arrived
relatively fast, came well packed, and insulated. I have been very happy with the
prices JC Whitney offers their customers. Most items sold are at least 10-15%
cheaper than buying from other similar websites, and much cheaper than buying
from infomercials. Like with all online purchases you don't usually know exactly what
you are getting, in the case with my 'side skirts' for my Geo Storm, I was not expecting
the hard labor that would have to go into putting them on.

Conclusion: An excellent online store for anyone looking to buy after market
products and parts for their vehicle.
